Founder, Director of Goalkeeping
Jordan Santiago
Jordan is a former Canadian U20 International who played as a Pro for Cardiff City FC and SC Veendam. He has coached at the highest possible level as Head of Academy Goalkeeping at West Ham United in the English Premier League along with Head of Goalkeeping at Cavalry FC.
Jordan has developed several Full International & Youth International Goalkeepers along with sending multiple goalkeepers to Universities across Canada, The United States & Europe.
Head Of Club Goalkeeping
Mack Roche
Mack is the current assistant Goalkeeper Coach for Calgary Wild FC and is in progress to complete his CSA Goalkeeper Diploma. Originally from Edmonton he joined Summit Goalkeeping in 2022 after playing for the University of Dalhousie & NAIT.
After playing Mack moved into coaching where he won a National Bronze Medal as Goalkeeper Coach at NAIT. Mack has now been coaching goalkeepers for over 10 years.
Lead Academy Goalkeeper Coach
David Thalheimer
David currently teaches Physical Education with the Calgary Board of Education and has been coaching goalkeepers around Calgary for over 12 years.
He grew up playing in Calgary and played at the highest level throughout his career. After winning the Canadian National U18 Championships he attended Mount Royal University where he played on the Men’s Varsity Soccer Team for 5 years.

Ashley Toupin
Ashley grew up playing for CSWU at the highest level of youth soccer in Calgary. She currently attends the University of Calgary and spends her spare time out on the field with us!
Her passion and love for the position is shown when she coaches the next generation of goalkeepers. We are lucky to have someone coach with us who is so enthusiastic, energetic & happy when being on the field, sharing her knowledge with young keepers!

Ella Filek
Ella is a high-energy, passionate goalkeeper coach who brings positivity and intensity to every session. A current goalkeeper for the MRU Women’s Soccer team and a holder of the CSA C-License, Ella combines years of coaching experience with elite-level playing.
Known for being vocal and encouraging, her contagious energy lifts the level of every training session. Ella’s coaching inspires confidence, sharpens skills, and helps goalkeepers thrive.

Sjard Strauss
Sjard joined Summit Goalkeeping when moving to Canada to pursue his studies at Mount Royal University after having a promising youth career in Germany
Promotion into the second highest youth league (Regionalliga Nord); won the LVM Versicherung Carlos Coutinho Cup 2019 (Westfalen) opponents like Wuppertaler SV and FC Viktoria Köln ; Currently 12th Place Regionalliga Nord (second highest division Germany)

Oliver Allen
Oli began training with Summit Goalkeeping in 2019 and quickly stood out for his dedication, technical ability and work ethic. He played post-secondary soccer at MRU before moving to SAIT, starting every game in net, eventually landing at the University of Calgary to compete at a higher level while continuing his studies.
Oliver began coaching with Summit in 2023 and is known for his maturity, leadership, and strong understanding of the game—impressive qualities for a young coach early in his career.

Sarah Johns
Sarah was one of the original Summit Goalkeepers, developing through the program before a standout youth career led her to UBC—one of Canada’s top soccer programs with 9 national titles. She played 27 games for the Thunderbirds before returning to Calgary, where she is now a medical student at the University of Calgary.
Sarah is a fantastic role model for our young goalkeepers, bringing high-level playing experience, focus, and professionalism to every session.

Aidan Dumoulin
Aidan grew up playing in Calgary and was the starting Goalkeeper with Mount Royal University, where they attended back to back National appearances.
Aidan has been coaching with Summit for over 5 years and you will often see him training alongside the goalkeepers he coaches. He loves to set the tempo & the tone of the session, bringing the best out of the goalkeepers he is working with.
